Blackfeet Braves - Cloud Nine ·
I’m all hopped up on Blackfeet Braves. Knew nothing about this four piece out of San Diego prior to seeing their name on the bill for the Allah-Las’ last Echo residency show, but these guys are awesome. “Cloud Nine” plays up to its name with a sweet surf rock vibe about it. It’s not all that surprising they were supposed to play with the Allah-Las; not too similar, but just enough to get on the same bill. The other cuts they have available are just as good, “Trippin Like I Do” is straight up jammy, something to sway to. With only a few demos on their bandcamp they’ve got my attention.
